Carol was born on December 3, 1965 to Roy and Sally Baker in Bay City, Michigan. In the summer of 1979 she met Greg Reinhardt, and they wed on December 10, 1983, going on to spend 37 wonderful years together and have two children, Benjamin and William, and later four grandchildren. When Carol had her first child, she decided to dedicate her life to being a devoted wife, mother, and later grandmother. Carol excelled at supporting her family through the many passions and difficulties of their lives, they were her world. Whether she was supporting Greg through the loss of his brother, helping her sons work on their houses, even running to the scrapyard for car parts, she made it her life’s work to improve the lives of her family.
Carol grew passionate about sewing in her later years and when she wasn’t filling her home with warmth and kindness, she could be found in her sewing room, making doll clothes for her grandchildren. Carol was predeceased by her mother and father. Left to cherish her memory are her husband and sons, two brothers, her sister, and four grandchildren. She was a brief but beautiful light in this world that was gone all too soon. We all miss her greatly and she will live on in our hearts.
There will be a visitation at 12pm followed by a funeral service at 1pm to celebrate Carol’s life on October 8, 2021, at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home and a burial immediately following at Rosewood Memorial Park at 601 N. Witchduck Rd. in Virginia Beach, Virginia 23462. Please visit www.kellumfuneralhome.com to leave a message of condolence for the family.
