Bobby William James Thompson

Bobby William James Thompson, 30, passed away on November 12, 2015. Bobby was born September 12, 1985 in Virginia Beach, VA. Survived by his wife Ellie Mae Thompson, parents Frances and Charles Thompson, sister Shannon Thompson, brothers Lee Thompson, Christopher Thompson, and maternal grandmother Frances Batten. Bobby was devoted to his family, and loved making memories. He enjoyed fishing, playing poker, and going to the movies. Bobby was a graduate of Bayside High School in 2003. While working at the Navy Exchange, he was also attending Tidewater Community College. He was compassionate, joyful, respectful, and always had a positive outlook on life. Bobby was a husband, son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend. He will be missed by many, and never forgotten. Visitation will be held 5 to 8 pm, Sunday at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home 601 N. Witchduck Rd VA Beach, VA 23462. Graveside service will be held Monday, 10 am at Rosewood Memorial Park.
