Barbara June Mullin

Virginia Beach - Barbara June Mullin, 91, passed away on December 22, 2013. Barbara was born on City Island, NY on June 9, 1922. She worked as an Avon lady for 15 years and as a cashier for Sears Warehouse until moving to Sears Credit Central. Barbara worked for Sears for 25 years. She enjoyed playing Hand & Foot and Rumikube. Barbara was an active parishioner of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, where she served as a mentor to RCI candidates and was an active member of the small faith group.

Left to cherish her memory are her four children, Carl Mullin, Joseph Mullin, Christine Colden, and Nadine Bialowas; her grandchildren, Carl Edward Mullin, Allison and Trip Colden, Matthew and Thomas Bialowas, Jennifer Jones, Keith, Sabina, Katie, and Brian Mullin; and her very best friend, Buzzy Whiteside. Barbara is preceded in death by her brothers, William and Donald Varian.

A memorial mass will be held at 10 a.m., Fri. Dec. 27, 2013 at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, celebrated by Father Cristiano Brito. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. You may pay condolences to the family at www.kellumfuneralhome.com.
