Analie was born in Steubenville, Ohio and was married in 1950. She then spent many years supporting her large family as a devoted military spouse. After raising her 9 children, Analie then began her career in the Department of Mental Health Services for the City of Virginia Beach, where she retired after more than 25 years of service.
Analie and her sister Ruth Calvert fulfilled their dream of moving to Florida together. They spent the next 14 years volunteering in their retirement community. Analie loved children, reading, sunsets, frogs and serving the Lord. Analie was a faithful member of the Church of the Ascension.
Analie leaves behind to cherish her memory 7 of her 9 children; Russell, David, Robert, Mary, Kenny, Brian and Doug. Her 2 sons, Dennis and Kevin, were waiting for her in Heaven.
Her legacy lives on through her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and countless other family members and friends.
A funeral Mass will be held at the Church of the Ascension, 4853 Princess Anne Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23462 at noon on Saturday April 30, 2016.
