Adam Wesley Lane

Adam Wesley Lane, loving father of three sons, and adoring husband to Mary Jane Lane, passed away on May 2, 2022 at his home in Virginia Beach, VA. Adam was born on August 1, 1978 in Virginia and grew up in South Mills, NC surrounded by a loving family. He graduated from Camden County High School in 1997. He received his Associate of Applied Science Degree from Guilford Technical Community College in July 2011. He owned and operated Lane’s Lawn Care since August 2012.

Adam was a hardworking man with the kindest heart. He enjoyed all genre of music and loved to listen to it as loud as possible while he worked. He was a spiritual man who found meaning in everything he encountered. He loved his family, friends, and animals intensely. He met his wife Mary Jane in 2011 on a dating site and fell in love over a large cheese pizza with onions, peppers, and tomatoes. They married on December 26, 2014. They encountered life’s joys and challenges together. They were each other’s “person”.

Adam was preceded in death by his older brother Nathan Lane. Survivors include his wife Mary Jane Lane; his parents Ervin Earl Lane (spouse, Patty Lane) and Ina Ruth Lane; three sons Micah Lane, Triston, and Daniel; and brother David Lane.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2:00pm at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home. The service will be live-streamed (see link below).
