Lourina Broussard, 78, died at 3:22 a.m. Thursday, January 26, 2012, in a local care center.
Survivors include her son, Roger Dale Broussard of Vinton; daughters, Sarah Barzare and husband John, of Lufkin, Texas; and Lynn Broussard of Baton Rouge; sisters, Sophia Richard and Shirley Swientonioski; grandchildren Mathew Barzare and his wife Christina, Leslie Ledoux and her husband Eddie, and Andrea Barzare; and great grandchildren, Lauren and Claire Barzare.
She is preceded in death by her husband Ernest "Mann" Broussard; son Larry James Broussard; sisters Gladys Miller and Earline Hebert; brother Hobert "Bobby" Miller; and grandson Anthony Broussard.
Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 28, in Hixson Funeral Home of Vinton. The Rev. Susil Fernando will officiate. Burial will be in Lee Granger Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9-10 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home
