Jeanette was a lifelong resident of Vinton where she was a member of Welsh Memorial United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Ladies Methodist Group, a charter member of the Ellen Bahnsen Circle and Anna Davis-Minnie Kaufman Circle where she served as card chairman. She loved to entertain and spend time with her family. Her hobbies were raising flowers, painting and needlework.
Survivors include her children, Ricky Quinn and wife, Regina of Vinton; Glenda Landry and husband, Tony of Brazoria, Texas; Sheila Porter and husband, Vic of Vinton; and daughter-in-law, Laurie Quinn of Vinton. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, and others that she loved as her own, as well as numerous great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, Bill Quinn and second husband, Jay Holland; beloved son, Allen Quinn; her parents and four sisters.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, January 25, 2016 at Welsh Memorial United Methodist Church in Vinton. Rev. Roger Templeton will officiate. Burial will follow in Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly, La. under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Vinton. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday all at the church.
