He was a native and lifelong resident of Vinton. Edward worked for 30 years as a Site Superintendent with Turner Industries and was member of Local 106 Plumbers and Steamfitters Union. He enjoyed fishing, boat riding on the river, driving his truck down Old Highway 90, and especially enjoyed family time.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Kathy Granger of Vinton; his son, Benjamin Joseph Granger and wife, Courtney of Vinton; his siblings, Alvin Granger of Starks, Mary Louvier of Sulphur, Diana Falcon of Nashville, Tennessee, Pat Edwards of Carencro, and Barbara Hebert of Lafayette. He is preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Mary "Blackie" Granger; and a brother, Herman Lee Granger.
