She was a native of Navarre, Ohio and had been a resident of Orange for the last 14 years, moving from Hackberry. Dot enjoyed playing Bingo with her friends from the nursing home and cherished her church family. She loved spending time with her family and absolutely adored her grandbabies - old and young.
Survivors include her daughters, Brenda Louise Moore of Orange, Texas and Karen Lee Cooley and her husband, Travis, of Orange, Texas, her siblings, Joseph Wayne West and Norma Martha Sherill, both of Charlotte, North Carolina; six grandchildren Chris Moore and wife Christine, Andy Moore and wife, Amy, Laura Jones and husband Josh, Tommy Teneyuque, III, Amanda Hernandez; and Jessica Teneyuque; and thirteen great-grandchildren with one on the way. She is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Shull, and her parents, Joseph Franklin West and Gertrude Lee West.
Her funeral will be at 11a.m. Friday, September 27th in Hixson Funeral Home of Vinton. The Rev. Allen Chapin will officiate. Burial will be in Niblett's Bluff Cemetery in Vinton.
