Billie Jean Swinney

She was born in Vinton and was a longtime resident of the Houston - Deer Park area.

Billie was an accountant and served as vice-president at the Pedco Oil Company and Tesoro Corporation.

She also did accounting for movie stars and celebrities.

She is survived by her husband of sixty-nine and one-half years, John; one daughter, Kathy Jean Earley of Deer Park,

Texas; two granddaughters, Lori Jean Earley of Richmond, Texas and Angela Marie Earley of Friendswood, Texas;

and two great-granddaughters, Aislinn Marie and Ellis Arwynn James.

Her funeral will be at 12 p.m. Monday, November 7, in Welsh Memorial, Vinton United Methodist Church.

The Rev. Rick Watson will officiate. Burial will be in Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly under the direction of

Hixson Funeral Home of Vinton. Vistiation will be from 5-8 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home and will continue

at the church from 11 a.m. until the time of service on Monday. Words of comfort may be shared at
