Wanda Lea McCreary-Howard

Wanda McCreary-Howard February 21, 1931 – July 13, 2022, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family, she was 91. Born in Reeds Springs, Missouri, she moved out West to California after marrying Jonny McCreary. She is preceded in death by her husband John McCreary of 50 years, her son Dale McCreary, and her second husband Jim Howard. Longtime member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Apply Valley. She enjoyed family gatherings, holidays and later in her life traveling. Avid quilter, cross-stitch, crocheter and crafter she had much to teach those that wanted to learn. A member of the Apply Valley senior club, she enjoyed the weekly dances and travel events with new friends.

Wanda is survived by her daughter Delores Dunlap, grandsons Donnie Dunlap, Geoffrey McCreary, John Carl Dunlap and her great granddaughter Cora Dunlap, John Calderone her loving partner of 16 years and extended family who she loved very much. A memorial service will be held on July 26th, with a viewing at 10 am, services starting at 11am located at Victor Valley Memorial Park 15609 11th St Victorville, CA 92395 – 760-245-8164. She will be laid to rest at Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Memorial Park with a Graveside Service at 2 PM located at 11500 Arlington Ave Riverside, CA 92505 951-944-2988.
