Growing up you were more then just my uncle you were my best friend, my brother and my dad.  You were always there to pick me up from school when I didn't want to be there, I was always able to count on you to be there when I needed you the most. Its hard to think I will have to go through life without you being here watching me get old or see my kids grow up. I'm going to miss all our conversations, our chisme, your laugh, your smile, your complaining, our fighting, our hours of FaceTime. I will miss everything. I love you to the moon and back!!!<3

This is the day that Ana invited us over for her graduation. And like always we showed up to support her. I had a blast dancing with you to the rock music they were playing. Thank you God for all these wonderful memories I have and For the  friendship that grew over the years. Love you little brother till we meet again

The day we went to have lunch in downtown Disney was one of the days that made me so happy to have the relationship me and dad had. He wasn't just my dad he was my best friend. I remember him being so excited to be able to spend that whole day together. We went to his favorite toy place after luch to look for hot wheels and he was so happy to be able to share that part of him with me. I loved seeing him get so excited for the little things in life. I wish now that days were longer to be able to enjoy being together as long as we possibly could. 

As the days pass after you have left to be with the Lord. I have moments of childhood memories I had long forgotten coming back and playing in my head. We had a childhood like no other in City Terrace Drive. You taught be how to be fearless from skateboarding down Ditman Avenue to jumping off the trees from the neighbor’s backyard. I know you expected Mom to deliver a son and then I arrived but that did not stop you from treating me like your little brother. I shadowed you, mirrored you and wanted to be you. I took your hand me downs with pride and looked at them as a reward. Specifically, your shirts, I remember one Halloween you gave me a striped shirt very similar to Freddy Krueger and we went to trick or treat to this house on City Terrace Drive just passing Hicks Avenue and the man from the house pointed out I was dressed as Freddy Krueger. You and I laughed so hard because we effortlessly pulled that costume off without trying. The days that followed, we shared that story with whoever would stop to hear us. Or the time when you took me to my first flyer party. I was not even a teenager yet, but you wanted me to know the ins and out of the scene. You were so proud to tell people I was your little brother. You encouraged me to be a boy, to dress, walk and act like you. Up until your last days, you still referred to me as your Niño. You never let me forget I was your little brother, not even on my wedding day. Although I transitioned into wearing women clothes and carry myself like a woman these days, I still make it a point to proudly say, I was raised as your little brother. Moments I feel this is simply unrealistic and feels like an out of body experience. I want to believe you are simply being you and doing your thing in Egypt. One day I will join you, and when I do- please pick me up in your ocean blue 70 Impala. Amoo – Tu Niño.
