He served in the Army in the Korean War. He enjoyed bowling, boating, fishing, gardening, building things, and playing on his computer. He was employed at Michelin Tire Corporation as a Warehouse Distribution Manager for 31 years, and what he enjoyed most of all was spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Ethel, Daughter Kathleen Ingersoll, (Husband Steven), son Michael, Son Robert, (wife Angela), Grandchildren, Lauren, Matthew and Randi, Brother In law Steven Kocsis, (wife Michele), Nephews – Derrick, (and family), and Nephew Steven.
The family would like to thank St. Bernadine's Hospice and Staff for their loving care of Ernie.
