Emily Alice Mantz was born in Jerome, Arkansas on August 17, 1944. She moved to Las Banos, CA in 1976. We met that year and it was love at first sight. In 1978 I asked her to marry me. She said yes and made me very happy for 44 years. On October 31st, she asked me if it was ok if she went first. I told her it was ok, if she promised me that she would save me a place with her. I got a big smile and she said absolutely.
