Betty resided in Las Vegas NV for sixteen years. She was married to Lester L Tompkins, Sr. until his passing in 1993. She is survived by Myra of Las Vegas NV, Portia of Humble TX and Lester of Apple Valley, CA as well as 12 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren. Previously ascended by Sheryl Ann Daniely, Stanley Taft Tompkins, and Lee Roy Tompkins.
Betty was a laborer all her life. She worked hard and played just as hard. She married young and endured many tough obstacles at a young age until she met Lester. She was a provider, strong and an independent woman. She will most definitely be missed by her family and friends.
We will be celebrating her life on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at 1:00PM for a viewing at Desert View Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 11500 Amargosa Rd., Victorville, CA 92392. Following the viewing at 2:00PM, we will have a grave site burial service held by Mike Morris of Calvary Chapel. If you would like to send flowers, she loved pink roses but any color rose will be fine.
