Una Cooke, 37, passed away on Sunday, June 20, 2021. Visitation will be held Friday, June 25, 2021 from 12:00PM to 2:00PM at Colonial Funeral Home, with funeral services beginning at 2:00PM. A reception will follow for family and friends of Una.

Una was born June 26, 1983 in Galveston, Texas to Julie Estrada and Benito Sanchez. She loved her family, friends and her 3 kids. She liked listening to live music, Jeeps, Betty Page and being in nature. She enjoyed food, fashion and crossword puzzles. She was an insurance agent at AMCO for many years. She became close to her clients and treated them like family. She was a loving daughter, wife, partner, mother, sister and friend. She will be dearly missed by all that were blessed to know her.

Una is survived by her husband, Jeffery Allen Cooke, Sr.; life partners, Erick and Lacy Pollard; daughter, Zaylynn Cooke; sons, Ethan Ryker Cooke and Jeffery Allen Cooke, Jr.; father, Benito Sanchez; sisters, Norma Sanchez-Campbell, Carolyn Sanchez, Ashley Sanchez, Beta Sanchez and Ada Sanchez; brothers, Joe Sanchez, Benito Sanchez, Jr., Bennie Sanchez and Benjamin Sanchez; in-laws, Rose and Kenton Cooke; sister-in-law, Cherilyn Cooke; brother-in-law, Douglas Cooke; best friend/co-worker, Kimberly Perez; co-workers, Karino Cano, Samantha Salas and Robin Cardenas; and friends, Liz Carter, Janell Langley-Reyes, Joey Garza, Lizeth Padron and Sara Brumbelow. She is preceded in death by her mother, Julia Estrada; her paternal grandparents, Domingo and Augustine Sanchez; and her maternal grandparents, Luis and Ester Ramirez.
