Theresa A. Reyes

Theresa A. Reyes, 72, of Bloomington, passed away January 14, 2015. She was born in Victoria, TX on May 25, 1943 to the late Victor and Maria Trejo Arriaga. Theresa ran track and loved volleyball during her high school years. She loved dancing with her husband from sock hops to Little Joe and Mazz. She worked in medical billing and was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.

She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Joe Robert Reyes; children, Javier Reyes and Robert W. Reyes; grandchildren, Robbie Turnbow Reyes, Ray Turnbow Reyes, Rebecca M. Reyes, Nikole Smith Reyes, Benjamin J. Reyes, Ryan Reyes, Alyssa Reyes and Jacob Reyes; great grandchildren, Lilith Reyes and Evangeline Reyes; brother, Walter Arriaga; and sisters, Delores Arriaga Rodriguez and Janie Arriaga Montana. She was preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Maria Arriaga; and brothers, Nicholas Arriaga and Victor Arriaga.

The family will hold a visitation on Sunday, January 17, 2016 from 5 to 8 pm with a 7:00 pm Rosary at Colonial Funeral Home, Victoria.

A Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 am, Monday, January 18, 2016 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Bloomington, TX with Father Samuel Appiasi officiating. Burial at San Jose Cemetery, Bloomington.

Pallbearers are Robbie Turnbow Reyes, Ray Turnbow Reyes, Javier Gonzalez, Roland Reyes, Rudy Reyes, Jr. and Benjamin Reyes.
