Shirley F. Keller, 80, of Victoria passed away Thursday, May 19, 2016 with family by her side. She was born October 31, 1935 in Paducah, Texas to the late Hiram Blyth and Effie Sparks Dawdy. Shirley married the love of her life, Leslie E. Keller, on October 22, 1955. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She was a Baptist. She was loved by everyone she knew. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Leslie E. Keller; daughter, Angela F. Drexler and husband, A.J.; son, Darryl Keller; grandchildren, A. Jay Drexler and wife, Amanda and Leslee F. Jarisch and husband, Todd; great-grandchildren, Tyler and Lia Jarisch and Jaydyn Drexler.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by sisters, Marguarite Dawdy, Lucille Welch, Alta Mae Keen, Evelyn Miller, Allene Christian and brother, J.L. “Mike” Dawdy.
The family will receive friends from 4-6 pm Sunday, May 22, 2016 at Rosewood Funeral Chapels. Funeral services will be at 10 am Monday, May 23, 2016 at Rosewood Funeral Chapels, Rev. Marcos Gohlke and Rev. Danny Dawdy officiating. Burial will follow at 11:45 am at Tivoli Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be A. Jay Drexler, Todd Jarisch, Chris Kessler, Fred Jurecek, Butch Smerek, David Wenzel, Richard Wright and Michael Dawdy.
Honorary pallbearers will be Drs. Yusuke Yahagi, Suruchi Kathpalia and Kurtis Krueger
