Sheila Katherine Brusenhan, age 67, of Victoria, Texas passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2024. Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 24, 2024 from 5-7PM at Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Thursday, April 25, 2024 at 10AM at Colonial Funeral Home, with interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Anthony Brown, Derrick Pratt, George Vogt, Harry Charbula, Jacob Burnett and Clinton Couey.
Sheila was born May 14, 1956 in Fayetteville, NC to the late Hubert and Catherine Brown. She married Dwayne Keeton Brusenhan in March 1993. She previously worked at Sunoco Plastics as an operator. Her hobbies included cooking, baking and watching TikToks. She loved to make big meals to feed everyone. In doing so, she always made a mess. She would jokingly apologize for the mess every time. Sheila's world revolved around her granddaughters, Maddie and Lacey. She loved spending time with them. She will be truly missed.
Sheila is survived by her husband, Dwayne "Keet" Brusenhan; sons, Donny Wieberg and Shane Brusenhan (Kellsie); granddaughters, Maddie Mae Brusenhan and Lacey Kae Brusenhan; niece, Elizabeth Brown; and nephews, Anthony Brown and Ross Brusenhan.
Sheila was preceded in death by her father, Hubert Brown; mother, Catherine Nobles Brown; son, Jerry Edward, Jr.; and brother, Anthony Brown.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Sheila's memory may be made to Dorothy H. O'Connor Pet Adoption Center and Restoration House Ministries or to a charity of your choice.
