Ruth May Higginbotham

Ruth May Higginbotham, 104, of Victoria, passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, in Victoria. She was born in Bloomington, Texas to Earl Calvin and Ella Kathrine Reimenschneider Bundick on November 23, 1920.

Ruth is preceded in death by her parents; Earl and Ella Bundick, daughters; Sandra Jean Langford, and Linda Gayle Abel, and granddaughter; Nancy E. Langford,

Ruth is survived by her daughter and son-in-law; Wanda “Elaine” and Richard Toll, sons-in-law; Billy Ronald Langford, and Joseph A. Abel, grandchildren; Sondra R. Sepenuk and her husband Pete, David R. Toll and his wife Andrea, Wesley E. Abel and his wife Allie, Benjamin Abel, and Billy R. Langford, Jr. and his wife Tina. Ruth also leaves behind numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, friends and extended family, all of whom will cherish her memory.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 from 9-10 am, immediately followed by Funeral Service at 10 am, all at First United Methodist Church in Victoria. Interment will immediately follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Pastor Amanda Banda of First United Methodist Church will officiate.

Honoring her by serving as Pallbearers are David Toll, Sondra Sepenuk, Wesley Abel, Ben Abel, Joe Abel, and Greg Wynn.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in her honor to First United Methodist Church of Victoria.
