Robert “Bob” A. Bianchi, Sr., 90, of Victoria, passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 in Victoria. He was born on December 15, 1931 to the late John C. and Beatrice Bianchi. He married Joan R. Meyer, and together they spent 58 years of wedded bliss before her passing. Bob was a Pharmacist for 63 years in Victoria. He was the owner of Village Pharmacy, worked for Gulf Bend Center and he retired in November 2021 from Harding & Parker, he was also a devout member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Bob was in the United States Air Force, and a veteran of the Korean War.
In addition to his parents, Bob is preceded in death by his wife; Joan R. Bianchi, and brother; John C. Bianchi, Jr.
Bob is survived by his son; Robert “Bobby” A. Bianchi, Jr., grandchildren; Robert A. Bianchi, III, Amber Christopher, and Braelyn Bianchi, and three great-grandchildren, all of whom will cherish his memory. Bob also leaves behind his beloved cat, Festus.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 13, 2022 from 5-7 p.m., followed by a Rosary at 7 p.m., all at Rosewood Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at 10 a.m. at Rosewood Funeral Chapel with interment immediately following at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery with full Military Honors.
Pallbearers will be John C. Bianchi, III, Cletus Bianchi, Gus Frantes, Dr. Peter Nguyen, Ed Kainer and Mike Kinsey.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Joseph Scholarship Class of '48, St. Mary’s Catholic Church, or a charity of Donor’s Choice.
