Richard E. Homan, age 51 passed away on Friday, November 12, 2021. Visitation will be held Sunday, November 28, 2021 from 1:00PM to 5:00PM at Rosewood Funeral Chapel. Graveside services will be held Monday, November 29, 2021 at 10:00AM at Willow Creek Cemetery in Hallettsville. Serving as pallbearers will be Timmy Goodman, Teddy Goodman, Tommy Goodman, Trenton Goodman, Derek Beck, Felipe Veliz and John Veliz.
Richard was born March 30, 1970 in Victoria, Texas to Henrietta Hill Homan and Albert Earl Homan. He loved anything Star-Wars and Star-Trek. He was very smart and detailed oriented. His hobbies included drawing and volunteering his time at VLZ Elite Concepts. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a loving son, brother, nephew and friend. He will be greatly missed.
Richard is survived by his mother, Henrietta Homan; sister, Rebecca Ann Homan; aunts, Margaret Morton, Wanda Hughes, Lee Scott and Dolores Watson; and uncle, Jesse Hill. Richard also leaves behind numerous cousins.
Richard was preceded in death by his father, Albert Earl Homan; aunts, Virginia Jones, Brenda Hill and Janie Goodman; and uncle, Gary Homan.
