Richard M Flores

Richard M. Flores, 51 of Victoria passed away January 12, 2014. He was born January 16, 1962 in Victoria, TX to Ralph A. Flores, Sr. and Gloria Menchaca Flores. Richard was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. He was an avid fisherman and a friend to everyone he met.

In addition to his parents, Richard is also survived by his companion, Lisa Flores; children, Christina Marie Flores and Jessica Flores; brother, Ralph Flores, Jr., grandchildren, Matthew Garcia, Tony Garcia, Jr., Celeste Garcia, Ernest Kitchens, Alonna Kitchens, Caden Gates, and Lexus Gates.

Richard was preceded in death by grandparents, Tanieslado and Julia Menchaca, Jose Flores and Thomosa Aguilar and his aunt Connie Menchaca.

A Rosary will be recited at 7 pm on Wednesday, January 15, 2014, at the Rosewood Funeral Chapel.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10 am Thursday, January 16, 2014, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with the Rev. John Kollannur officiating. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Raymond Menchaca, Mike Reyna, Ralph Flores, Jr., Clem Garcia, Robert Lee Flores, Michael R. Gonzales.

Richard’s family would like to give a special thanks to the Staff at Citizens MICU, Hospice Nurse Practioner Rachel, Dr. Terry Whitehouse, Dr. Arun Jain and Dr. Young Du.
