Raymond Williams Harris Jr.

Raymond William Harris, Jr., 87, of Victoria, passed away December 11, 2013. Ray was born March 12, 1926 in Victoria to the late Raymond William and Mary Hilda Munsch Harris. He was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church.

Ray is survived by his sons, David L. Harris (Tina) of Portland, TX, Joel Harris (Marta Lynne) of Edna, TX, James R. Harris (Cindy) of Conroe, TX; brothers, Edward and Tommy Harris both of Port O’Connor, TX, Mickey Harris (Mary Beth) of Port Lavaca, TX, Pete Harris (Sandy) of Victoria, TX; six grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 56 years, Mildred Hall Harris.

A visitation will be held Thursday, December 12, 2013 from 5-7 PM at the Rosewood Funeral Chapels with a rosary to be recited at 7 PM. Funeral Mass will be Friday, December 13, 2013 at 2 PM at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
