Raymond E. Dearman, a man of integrity, hard-working spirit, and enduring devotion, passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2023, at the age of 66. Born on September 28, 1956, in Monahans, Texas, the son of Ray and Jennie Dearman, the youngest of three, Raymond was raised in the small west Texas town of Wickett.
Raymond's life was marked by love and a strong sense of family. In March 1999, he entered into a loving union with his soulmate, Tammy Dearman, and together they built a life filled with love and joy. As a devoted husband, Raymond cherished every moment with Tammy, and their unbreakable bond served as an inspiration to those around them.
A man of ambition and entrepreneurial spirit, Raymond established his own small business, Coastal Bend Mechanical Services, in Victoria, Texas. As a young man, he worked tirelessly in the oilfields of West Texas, where his dedication and passion for his craft earned him respect and admiration from colleagues and clients alike. Raymond worked in the gas compression business for more than 50 years, leaving a legacy in the industry.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Raymond leaves behind a close-knit family who treasured him dearly. Raymond was married to Sheila Pickering for 22 years and together they raised two beautiful daughters. His memory will forever be cherished by Lisa Beavers and her husband Joe Beavers, and LeaAnn Petersen and her husband Ivan Petersen. He was a proud and loving grandfather to his seven grandchildren: Makayla, Kaitlen, John, Brianne, Kylie, Zander and Isla. In addition to his immediate family, Raymond is survived by his sisters, Dana Gandy and Connie Witt. Raymond was preceded in death by his mother Jennie and father Ray Dearman and his mother-in-law Marty Dow.
Raymond was not only unconditionally loved but he was also deeply respected by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His life was a testament to resilience, emerging from the school of hard knocks, Raymond faced life's challenges with unwavering determination.
One of his most remarkable qualities was his abundance of wisdom, which he generously shared with others. Whether it was offering advice on business matters, sharing life experiences, or providing guidance in times of need, Raymond's counsel was highly valued. He was a trusted confidant and a mentor for those seeking direction in their own endeavors.
Though Raymond E. Dearman may have left this world, his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. He will forever be remembered for his dedication to his family, his determination, and the love he shared with Tammy throughout their journey together.

A memorial service will be held for Raymond E. Dearman at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 27, 2023, at the Rosewood Funeral Chapel located at 3304 E. Mockingbird Lane in Victoria, Texas. A visitation with the family will be made available on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, between 5 to 7 p.m. A graveside memorial will be held in Monahans, Texas, on Monday, July 31, 2023 at 10 am.
