Paula Eshleman

Pauladean Eshleman, 75, of Victoria, passed away December 10, 2023. Paula was born July 1, 1948 in Victoria County to the late Thelma Richardson and George Laza Sr. Paula loved her work as a cosmetologist. Paula didn’t have a mean bone in her body and was adored by many friends and family. Paula loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her daughter, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Paula loved outdoor activities and camping with her Kiddos and the Meaux’s. (The Campering Crew)

Paula is survived by daughter, Vicki Ruddick of Victoria; grandchildren, John Ruddick, Samantha Lemmons (Chris), Kelly Ruddick and great-grandchildren, Payton Ruddick, Kinsley Ruddick, Madilynn Lemmons and Cora Lemmons; sisters, Lillie Mae Johnson of Victoria, Louise Janis of Friendswood, brother, Dan Laza (Carol) Bloomington.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Milton Eshleman; son, Jeffrey Eshleman; brother, George Laza Sr., sisters, Betty Shelton, Mary Ann Laza, Francis Sacky and brother, Dale Laza.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 13, 2023 from 6-8 PM at Rosewood Funeral Chapel.

Funeral services are Thursday, December 14, 2023 at 10 AM at Rosewood Funeral Chapel with burial to follow at Crescent Valley Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Kenneth Janis, Curtis Janis, Lee Lemmons, Steve Meaux, Darrel Yeates, and Salvidor Piñon.

Honorary pallbearers are John Ruddick, Chris Lemmons, and Clinton Meaux.
