Patrick J. Tagliabue

Patrick J. Tagliabue, 76, of Victoria passed away Thursday, December 5, 2013. He was born February 25, 1937, in Victoria to Joseph and Gladys Tagliabue. Pat graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1955. He and Ruby Mears were married February 1, 1958 at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church in Victoria. He was employed by DuPont and retired after 37 years of service. He was a devout catholic, devoted family man and an avid hunter and fisherman. Pat was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.

He is survived by his wife, Ruby Tagliabue; daughter, Donna Tripp and husband Mike; daughter, Trish Surber; son, Dave Tagliabue and wife Jen; three grandchildren, James Bartholomae and wife Jennifer; Brittney Surber and Dustin Surber; his mother Gladys Tagliabue and sister, Elizabeth Tagliabue. He was preceded in death by his father and two infant brothers.

Visitation will be from 6:00 - 7:00 pm Sunday, December 8, 2013 at Rosewood Funeral Chapels. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm.

Funeral mass will be held Monday, December 9, 2013, at 10:00 am at Holy Family Catholic Church, Fr. Dan Morales and Fr. Brian Heyer officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be James Bartholomae, Dustin Surber, Mike Tripp, Cheryl Pittman, Mike Phillips and Buddy Zaplac.

Honorary pallbearers will be John McAlpine, James Besetsny and Oscar Scherer.
