In the gospel of John, chapter 14, Jesus says, “In My Father’s house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also.”
On Sunday morning, November 12, 2017, Jesus escorted Maude Evelyn Allen to that dwelling place He had prepared for her. She entered the world on March 27, 1925 the third child of Benjamin and Ethel Freasier. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jack Allen; two sisters; two brothers and one grandson.
She is survived by her two sisters: Joyce Thomason of Porterville, California, Barbara McWilliams of Santa Rose, California; her three sons: Kenneth “Butch” (Marianna) Allen of Victoria, Texas, Stanley “Jack” (Theresa) Allen of Beeville, Texas and William “Bill” (Victoria) Allen of Ohio; two foster-daughters: Krystal Jones of Atlanta, Georgia and Ronda Gravert of Iowa. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
She leaved behind the legacy as a woman of faith and a wonderful prayer warrior. You will see her influence in the lives of her family and friends.
