Margaret Pauline Young, 92, of Victoria passed away November 17, 2021. She was born January 3, 1929 in San Antonio to Albert and Mary Bauche Zoeller. Margaret was a majorette at Fox Tech High School in San Antonio. She worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone prior to her marriage and then later in life, after raising her children, she became an LVN and worked for Citizens Hospital, and then made a career as an Activity Director for a Nursing Home. She enjoyed doing art and drew and painted many beautiful pictures; she loved to dance and watching the Dallas Cowboys and Texas A&M Aggies games on television with her sons; shopping with her daughter; and the Zoeller Family reunions. Most of all, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her sons, Jack W. Young Jr. and his wife Martha, and Jason Young; sisters, Molly Warner and Alice Kneip; and grandchildren, Maria Iris Young and Warren Tomas Young.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Susan Young; parents; former husband, Jack Warren Young Sr.; and brothers, Harley, Joe, George, Fred, Ned, and Henry Zoeller.
Visitation will be held Monday, November 22, 2021 from 6-7 p.m. at Rosewood Funeral Chapels, 3304 Mockingbird Lane, Victoria with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church. Burial will follow at 2 p.m. at Mission Park Cemetery, 1700 SE Military Dr. in San Antonio.
