Lena Mae Adams

1930~ 2019

Victoria- Lena Mae Adams, 88, passed away surrounded by family, Saturday, March 9, 2019. She was born May 19, 1930 in Gonzales, Texas to Ford Leslie and Lena Amanda Ferrell.

She married the love of her life J.C. Adams, Jr. in 1954 and they enjoyed 57 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2011.

She is survived by her son, Tommy (Valori) Adams, Randy (Tere) Adams; daughter Connie Adams; grandchildren, Drew, Randy, Matthew Adams and Brooke Vogt; great grandchild, Ketch Adams; sister, Minerva (Billy) Peeler; sister-in-law, Sue Ferrell.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Charles, Harry, Henry Ford and Johnny Ferrell; sisters, Emma Louise Logan, Florence Knippa and Virgie Rutledge.

Family and friends will gather for visitation on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 from 5-7 PM at Rosewood Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at 11 AM at Rosewood Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Alexander Cemetery in Stratton, Texas at 1 PM.

Pallbearers will be Drew Adams, Randy Adams, Matthew Adams, Jason Vogt, Thomas Orsak and Britt Sides.

Special thanks to the caregivers that took care of Lena Mae over the past couple of years, Rose Morin, Bebe Salinas, Mary Hernandez and Cynthia Guzman.
