Kenneth A. Fromme, 77, was born on June 5, 1939 in Yorktown, Texas to the late Ali and Iva Fromme. He passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2016. He retired from DuPont with over 31 years of dedicated service. He proudly served in the National Guard. He served at the Jesus Church as a Sunday School Superintendent for 40 years and Church Secretary for 16 years. For many years, Kenneth also served on the Board of Directors for The Foster Parents of Victoria and was their treasurer until two years ago. He was a godly man, who loved Jesus, his family and his church. He was the perfect example of what a husband, dad and granddad should be and extended kindness not only to family but to everyone he met.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife of 50 years, Marjorie Fromme; and brother, Wayne Fromme.
He is survived by his wife, Pat Fromme; daughters, Joy (James) Stafford and Jill Casey; grandchildren, Ty Fromme, Hannah and Breanna Casey, Allyson and Abigail Stafford, James Stafford Jr., and Gabriel Gonzales; Pat's children, Patty Swedlaw, Margie Geer, Steven (Kim) Geer, and Julie (Matt) Maples; and Pat’s grandchildren, Jay and Ryan Swedlaw, and Cameron, Austin and Grayson Maples.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 7, 2016 from 6-8 pm at Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at The Jesus Church, 3402 N. Main St., Victoria, Texas 77901. Burial will follow Memory Gardens Cemetery, Victoria. A reception will follow at The First Church of the Nazarene, 1105 Edinburgh St.
Pallbearers will be Ty Fromme, Travis Fromme, Brian Wendel, Cody Pflaum, Keith Bitterly and Jason Itz. Honorary pallbearers are Willie Davis, Dr. Henry Dittert, David Haney, Bruce Haney, Dickie Itz, Robert Rodriguez, Lance Svatek, Milton Chapman, Kenneth Montag, Tommy Martinez, Dr. John P Soule, Cameron Maples, Steve Geer.
