Keith and I were good friends in high-school and he would often give me rides to school in his blue VW bug. Keith introduced me to some great music that I still listen today.  Keith was a natural mentor, and he was always challenging me to think broader than the current time. I extend my thoughts and prayers to his family and friends. Patrick Coronado.

My sincerest sympathies to Dr. Kirkpatrick's family and friends. He was a wonderful professor who truly cared about his students.

Keith was a great guy whom I looked up to as a friend and soccer mentor, growing up in Irving. He was always ahead of the times with his sports and styles. His brother Ken and I are the same age and became very good friends. I'm so sad for the loss of Keith.

Professor Kirkpatrick and his introduction to sociology course was my first class as a college student. I remember being very nervous the first day, but His demeanor and manner of instruction calmed my nerves and helped build my confidence as a student. I found his manner of instruction very unique and involved. It was evident to me he had a passion for this field and I was so very glad to have had him as an instructor. He was always quick to smile and quick to laugh in the classroom. 

His examples and delivery of the subject matter was entertaining, insightful, and very interesting. His class helped me break apart some of the misconceptions I had and opened my mind to perspectives which I had not considered before. Thanks to Professor Kirkpatrick my outlook on the world and the peoples therein is wider and more understanding.

My condolences to the family.  I had not seen Keith in many years but have fond memories of him as my cousin growing up.

I had Dr Kirkpatrick for sociology at VC and the impact he made on me was immense.  

I was a recent immigrant to the US and felt very out of place and uncomfortable socially and emotionally.  Dr Kirkpatrick showed me that there really were people here who thought like me and approached the world and society in a way I was familiar with.  That may seem like a little thing, but it made an immense difference to me and my well-being at the time, and still does today.  

I think about Dr Kirkpatrick and what I learnt in his class often and I know it continues to shape me and my outlook on life to this day.

Apart from that, Dr Kirkpatrick was an awesome teacher with a wealth of knowledge to share with his students.  His lectures on anthropology in particular were some of the most awesome, amazing lectures I ever had.

Thank you, Dr Kirkpatrick.  I am very sorry to the family for your loss.

My deepest sympathy to the family of Dr. Keith Kirkpatrick.   He was a valuable asset to the students and faculty of Victoria College.   He will be missed.

My deepest condolences to Keith's family. Although I had not seen him in many years I have fond memories of my cousin.

I had Dr. Kirkpatrick for a sociology course several years ago. He was very passionate about what he taught, and he had an extraordinary amount of patience when I would stay after to class to inquire further about the topics discussed or a wider array of issues from a sociological perspective. He challenged me to reevaluate the things I believed to be "normal" and I haven't stopped since then. 

He was kind enough to give me an "Introduction to Logic" 5th edition by Irvin M. Copi so I could develop fundamental skills to critically examine arguments objectively. I still have the book, and I'll forever treasure it. 

It's hard to describe how profound of an impact he had on who I am today, and how much I'll miss our intriguing dialogues. I wish the family my most sincere condolences, and I hope they know that he made a difference in the life of this student.

My deepest condolences go to the children and other family  members of Keith Kirkpatrick.  He was my colleague for a number of years at Victoria College and was an excellent teacher, an outstanding administrator, and a very good friend.  Keith had a terrific, understated sense of humor that only a lucky few saw and he was one of the most intellectually gifted people I've met.
