Judy McCrumb Wagner, 71, passed away after a sudden illness on June 16, 2022. She was born October 15, 1950 in Hallettsville to parents Herbert and Martha Pohl McCrumb. She attended Hallettsville Public Schools and graduated from Sheridan High School in 1969. She attended Baldwin Business College in Yoakum. She married Arnold Wagner in Victoria on June 24, 1978, where they made their home.
She also loved the Dallas Cowboys and the Houston Astros baseball team. She and Arnold especially loved going to Houston to see the games with her nephew. Judy never missed sending birthday cards to members of the family. She never forgot their birthdays.
She is survived by her husband, Arnold Wagner of Victoria, son, Arnold Wagner II of Austin; sisters, Hedy Starling of El Campo, Gail McCord of Inez, and Jennie Gregory of Beeville; plus numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by parents; brother, Edward McCrumb; sister, Ruby Bozka.
Visitation will be from 9 to 10 am on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at Colonial Funeral Home followed by a Rosary at 10:00 am. Funeral Services will begin at 10:30 am and burial will be at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery. A Reception will be held after the burial at Colonial Funeral Home for friends and family to gather.
Serving as pallbearers will be her son, Arnold L. Wagner II, George Ganem, Christopher Ganem, Jacob Teets, Kelvin Klatt and Imran Farooqui. Memorials may be made to donor’s choice.
