Joyce Nicol, age 83, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2014. She was born January 28, 1931 in Delwin, Texas to the late Homer and Freda E. Williams Cunningham. Along with her husband, they owned and operated the Walt Nicol Volkswagen Lincoln-Mercury Auto Dealership in Victoria for many years.
She is survived by her sons, Charlie W. Nicol and wife Shirley of Corpus Christi, and Bryan E. Nicol and wife Leslie of Victoria; grandchildren, Philip Scott Nicol and Misty Dawn Lawrence.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 51 years, Walter L. Nicol; one sister, and one brother.
The Family will receive friends beginning at 11:00 am Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at Colonial Funeral Home. The Funeral Services will follow at 1:00 pm Wednesday. Private graveside services will be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
