Josephine Witt, 88, of Angleton passed away Thursday, September 12, 2013. She was born October 20, 1924, in Victoria to the late Joe and Rose Garza Miranda. She was a homemaker and a member of the Catholic church.
Survivors include her daughter, Melissa Reyes of Katy; son, Edward Witt and wife, Leticia, of Lake Jackson; daughter-in-law, Jennie Witt of Dallas; sisters, Francis Galvan of San Antonio and Esther Ramirez of Spring; 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Witt, daughter, Deborah Martin and son, Joseph Witt.
Visitation will begin at 1:30 pm Tuesday, September 17, 2013, at Rosewood Funeral Chapels with a Rosary to be recited at 2:00 pm. Graveside services will follow at 3:00 pm at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Deacon Jim Koenig officiating.
