Johnny enjoyed sports, especially the Houston Astros. He loved shopping and anything designer brand. Johnny trained MMA amateur fighters at the Monster Den and helped out with the local Tap or Scrap. He was a great and loving dad and adored his children. He had big plans to travel and he and Abby made their first trip last year to Las Vegas.
Johnny is survived by his wife, Abby Gonzales; his children, Ava, Isabella, Audrey, and Zander; his grandmother, Susie Villarreal; siblings, Natalia, Lucinda, and Monica; his mother, Debra Woods and his dogs, Khali, Sadie, and Max. He also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Visitation for family and friends will be Friday, October 27, 2023, from 2-7 PM at Rosewood Funeral Chapel with a rosary to be recited at 7 PM.
Funeral Mass will be Saturday, October 28, 2023, at 2 p.m. at Our Lady of Victory Cathedral.
Pallbearers are Jon Soto, Matthew Soto, Bradley Macvittie, Kyle Joseph, Tank Tyson, and John Tyson.
Honorary pallbearers are “his fighters”, Dylan & Devon Aguilar, Kris Gonzales, Zeke Cates, “Tiny” Aguilar, Peter Morales, Roy Barnes, and Zander Vargas.
In lieu of flowers, his wife is requesting donations be made to an account set up for his daughters, Ava and Audrey through his cash app- $JrocGonzales.
