JoAnne Bailey

JoAnne Bailey, 88, of Victoria passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2017. She was born April 7, 1929 in San Antonio, Texas to Alvin Lee and Sarah Adams Freeman. JoAnne was a social worker and a member of Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church. JoAnne was devoted to her church and her Bible study group. She loved spending time with her family and her fur baby, Brandy.

She is survived by her daughter, Sissy (Gary) Palmer of Kingsville; son, Dr. Joe (Donna) Bailey of Victoria; brother, Alvin Lee (Linda) Freeman, Jr. of Houston; six grandchildren, Amanda (Cody) Thompson, Hollye (Bo) Starnes, Krystle (John) Olle, Savannah (Lupe) Diaz, Ashley Hartley, Kristina (Justin) Vega and twelve great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bailey was preceded in death by her husbands, Joseph Roland Bailey, Sr. and Don Kennedy.

Funeral services for Mrs. Bailey will be held at 10 am on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church with Rev. Ryan Kowlessar officiating. Entombment will follow in Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
