Eleanor Jeanne Clark Crocker (Jean), passed away peacefully, Saturday, May 6, 2017 surrounded by family. Jean was born February 11, 1924 in Galveston, Texas to Daniel Curran Clark and Mildred Cox Clark.
Jean married her high school sweetheart, John J. Crocker, in Galveston, Texas. After marriage the couple moved to Corpus Christi, Texas then to Victoria, Texas where she lived for over 65 years.
Jean was preceded in death by her sister, Janice Clark Lipphardt and her ex-husband of 45 years, John Jefferson Crocker.
She is survived by her daughters, Jeanne Crocker Cardenas (Dr. Charles D. Cardenas) of Corpus Christi and Susan Gayle Crocker of Corpus Christi; granddaughters, Elizabeth Hughes Welder ( Matt Church) of Victoria and Lisa Carol Berherdt (Mark Berherdt, Rev) of Corpus Christi; grandsons, John Christopher Anderson (Ruth) of Victoria and Randall David Meyer (Melissa) of Aledo, Texas; great-grandchildren include Carson Gray Anderson and Zackery Crocker Anderson of Victoria, John Daniel and Sara Reese Meyer of Aledo, Alyssa Welder Blain and Hanna O’Connor Hewitt of Victoria; niece, Judith of Sedona, AZ.

A visitation will be held Friday, May 12, 2017 from 5-7 PM at Rosewood Funeral Chapel.
A private inurnment will take place at Magnolia Cemetery in Meridian, Mississippi.
