Jay Michael Fimbel Jr.

Jay Michael Fimbel, Jr., 68, of Inez passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2015. He was born on May 6, 1946 to the late J. M. and Lavernia Moy Fimbel. Mike proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam and was retired from the oilfield after many years.

Survivors include his sons, Jeff Fimbel and wife, Lisa of Inez, Scott Fimbel of Inez; sister, Jeanenne Oeltjean of Telferner; grandchildren, Cole, Wyatt, Logan, Emma and Aiden.

In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife, Marsha McMullen Fimbel on November 2, 2014.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 22, 2015 from 5-7 PM at Rosewood Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be Monday, February 23, 2015 at 10 AM at Rosewood Funeral Chapel with Deacon Jim Koeing. Graveside and full military honors under the auspices of the Victoria Veterans Council will be at Wood Hi Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Cole Fimbel, Wyatt Fimbel, Logan Fimbel, Edward Koehl, Dan Richards and Tracy Burow. Honorary pallbearers are Emma Fimbel, Aiden Fimbel and Gary Stroud.
