Glenda Pat Kirkpatrick, of Victoria, Texas; recently of Lake Jackson, Texas, peacefully passed away on the 16th of April 2024, surrounded by her family. Pat was born to Ingle Willie Turner and James Leonore Brundrett Turner on the 7th of May 1944, in Rockport, Texas. She married the love of her life, Coy Kirkpatrick, Jr., on the 2nd of December 1961, in Rockport, Texas, and spent the next 62 years adoring each other and raising their family.
Pat is survived by her brother, James Darrell Turner (Jenny), her husband Coy, her son, Craig Scott (Jenny), and her daughter Christy Dawn Uhl (Michael). Pat had a large family with 8 grandchildren, Lindsay Turner (Justin), Brittany Barclay (Justin), Bethany Kunasek (Jacob), Ashley Taylor (Brandon), Brooke Cavazos (Cedric), Emma Wiegand, Neil Wiegand, and Taylor Kirkpatrick (Connor). She also had 15 great-grandchildren; Kinsley, Kaelynn, Bryllar, Kennedy, Karleigh, Paisley, Cole, Hudson, Cade, Emma, Coasten, Jackson, Noah, Everett, and Ayla.
Celebration of Life Services for Pat will be at Rosewood Funeral Chapel in Victoria, Texas, at 10:00 AM, Monday, April 22nd, 2024. The Life Celebration will be conducted by a special family friend of Pat and Coy, Dallas Ford. Pam and Dallas Ford have been by Pat and Coy’s side for almost 70 years. Friends and family are invited to visitation with the family starting at 9:00 AM, before the services. The interment will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Victoria.
Pallbearers are Justin Barclay, Cedric Cavazos, Jacob Kunasek, Brandon Taylor, Justin Turner, and Connor Vaughan.
The family would like to thank the staff at CHI-St. Lukes Hospital in Lake Jackson for their care, understanding, and service during the last weeks. The family would also like to give special thanks to Dr. Alkesesh C. Amin and the staff for their excellent care and assistance during the last several years. A very special thanks also goes to family friend John Baker, who has graciously taken care of the Victoria home for several years since Pat and Coy moved to Lake Jackson.
Rosewood Funeral Chapel, 3304 East Mockingbird Lane in Victoria, Texas has been honored to assist the family in final preparations.
