Glenda Faye Doebbler, 56, of Victoria passed away Friday, February 18, 2011. She was born October 21, 1954, to Ray 'Chink' and Mary Beattie Fimbel. She was a loving mother, daughter, and sister with an ever positive attitude and smile always found on her face. Glenda had a love of horses, rodeo, and the outdoors. She was a faithful employee at DeTar Hospital for over thirty years and lifelong member of First English Lutheran Church of Victoria.
Glenda is survived by her daughter, Casey Doebbler, of Stephenville, Texas; first husband Chuck (Becky) Doebbler; mother, Mary Fimbel; sister, Connie (Edward) Koehl, all of Victoria; brother Ed (Cheryl) Fimbel, of Sugarland, Texas; brother Robert(Kim) Fimbel, of Stephenville, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews, and numerous friends.
She was preceded in death by her father Ray 'Chink' Fimbel.
The family will receive visitors on Sunday, February 20th from 3 to 5 p.m. at Rosewood Funeral Chapel.
Funeral services will be held at First English Lutheran Church in Victoria on Monday, February 21st at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Glenda's nephews, Anthony Koehl, Judd Koehl, Cody Koehl, Andrew Fimbel, Stephen Fimbel, and Seth Fimbel.
In lieu of flowers the family asks donations be made in memory of Glenda to First English Lutheran Church, 516 N. Main, Victoria, Texas, 77901, or charity of the donor's choice.
