Geraldine B. Taylor

Geraldine Srubar Taylor, 73 of Victoria passed away on October 24, 2015. Geraldine was born on April 17, 1942 in Houston, TX to the late C. G and Josephine Srubar and raised in Ganado, TX. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Taylor and nephews, Brian Orsak and Brandon Srubar.

She is survived by her daughter, Susan (Brian) Vanderford of Victoria; son, David (Ida) Casey of Victoria; sisters, Carolyn (Victor) Orsak of Victoria, Connie (Curtis) Drake of Victoria; brothers, Glenn (Judy) Srubar of Victoria; Don (Linda) Srubar of Ganado and grandchildren, Katie Bochat, Megan Vanderford, Katrina Casey and Sean Casey.

Geraldine was a loving and devoted wife, a wonderful mother and doting grandmother. She lived for her family. She had a kind heart, a smile for everyone and will be sadly missed. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 pm on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at Rosewood Funeral Chapels with a rosary to be recited at 7 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 AM on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Victor Orsak, Stephen Orsak, Kevin Orsak, Curtis Drake, Darren Drake and Weston Drake.
