Evelyn E. Everett passed into her heavenly life on June 22, 2013 with her daughters at her side. She was born January 26, 1925 in Snoqualmie Falls, Washington to Victor and Eugenia Mission and was raised in Seattle, Washington. In 1942 Evelyn married Adam Everett and they moved to Texas in 1946. Evelyn was a homemaker, but most of all enjoyed being a mother, she was a “Pink Lady” at Citizens Medical Center and also volunteered by visiting patients in hospitals who had no family.
Survivors include her daughters, Linda Jaynes and husband, Darrell of Victoria, Victoria Seward and husband, William of Katy, Carolyn Hampton of Lancaster, Ohio, Jane Bagnall and husband, George of Victoria, Pam Anderson and husband, Nevin of Victoria; eleven grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Adam Everett, son, Daniel Everett and grandson, Stevie Hampton.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 from 5:30-7 PM at Rosewood Funeral Chapels. Funeral services will be 2 PM on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at Rosewood Funeral Chapels with Rev. Mike Singenstreu officiating.
The family would like to acknowledge the staff of Whispering Oaks Manor in Cuero for the three years of loving care and to the staff of Courtyard Rehabilitation and Healthcare of Victoria for their wonderful care during these last weeks of her life.
