Eloise Tagliabue, 87, formerly of Victoria, passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2015. She was born February 28, 1928, in Victoria, Texas, daughter of the late Leslie and Winnie May Moore Johnson. Eloise was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and enjoyed old movies, reading, and visiting with friends and family. She was a Catholic and a member of Our Lady of Victory Cathedral for many years.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Elizabeth Tagliabue Forbes and husband Doug of Carrollton, Texas; sister, Bernice Alexander of El Campo; grandchildren, Billy Murphy, Joey Tagliabue, David Tagliabue and Neil Forbes; and great grandchildren, Maston and Maris Murphy, Joseph and Tate Tagliabue and David and Sage Tagliabue.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Alice Albrecht of El Campo, brother Leslie Johnson of Dallas, husband, Lawrence Joseph Tagliabue, and children, Larry Lynn Tagliabue, Nancy Tagliabue Calhoun and Rhonda Kaye Tagliabue.
A Rosary will be recited 9:30 am, Thursday, August 13, 2015 at Our Lady of Victory Cathedral followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 am with Rev. Kristopher Fuchs officiating. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Billy Murphy, Joey Tagliabue, David Tagliabue and Neil Forbes, and son-in-law, Doug Forbes.
