Eddie Ray Garcia

Eddie Ray Garcia, 57, of Bloomington, passed away on November 15, 2014. He was born on February 4, 1957 in Port Lavaca, Texas to Anastacio Garcia and Lucia Moya Garcia, of Bloomington. He was a carpenter and a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.

Eddie is survived by his parents, daughter, Erica Garcia, of Brownsville, TX; son, Eddie Ray Garcia, Jr.

and fiancé, Monica Rangel, both of Victoria; sisters, Mary Rios (Richard), of Brownsville; Diane Ortiz (Paul),

of Baytown, TX; brothers, Alfred Garcia (Veronica), of Bloomington and Anastacio Garcia (Dianna), of Baytown; grandchildren, Emily and Ethan Garcia.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 8 pm, Friday, November 21, 2014 at Colonial Funeral Home with

a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 am, Saturday, November 22, 2014

at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Bloomington, TX. Burial will follow at San Jose Cemetery, Bloomington.

Serving as pallbearers will be Eddie Ray Garcia, Jr, Ruben Garcia, Paul Ortiz, Jr, Rick Rios, Jr,

Arthur Olguin, Sr. and Louis Hernandez, Jr.
