David B. Griffith, 52, of Victoria, passed away September 3, 2012. He was born June 10, 1960, to Noel Tyson and Amy Mosley Griffith of Orange, Texas. David graduated from Texas A&M University in 1982 with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. He was employed with Dupont/Invista Company for 24 years and was the recipient of numerous awards and was also awarded 4 U.S. Patents for his development of new processes for Dupont. David loved fishing and was a member of North Side Baptist Church. But most of all he was a loving husband and father.
David is survived by his parents, his wife of 27 years, Twila Hanz Griffith; sons, Andrew D. “Andy” and Alexander J. “Alex” Griffith, both of Victoria; daughter, Addie Elise Griffith of Victoria; sister, Donna Kilbourne and husband, William of South Carolina; and brother, Stephen Griffith of Beaumont, Texas.
A visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, September 6, 2012, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Rosewood Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be held, Friday, September 7, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Rosewood Funeral Chapels with Rev. Tim Williams officiating. Burial will follow immediately at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Steve Juricek, Woody Seybert, Stephen Griffith, Scott Turk, John Mason, Andy Griffith and Alex Griffith.
