Darlene Joyce Davis

Darlene J. Davis, 49, of Victoria passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2013. She was born May 18, 1964, in Victoria to Frances Adams Davis and the late Delmer (DJ) Davis. She was employed at Bush Intercontinental Airport and was a Baptist.

Survivors include her mother, Frances Davis; sisters, Barbara (John) Sweet and Mary Evans; brother, Rodney Davis, all of Victoria. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and longtime companion, Ronald Schafer.

Darlene was preceded in death by her father, DJ Davis and her brothers, Robert J. Ishmael and Robert A. Mosley.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 pm Friday, July 5, 2013, at Rosewood Funeral Chapel.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 am Saturday, July 6, 2013, at Rosewood Funeral Chapel with Mr. Joe Crisp officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Darlene will be forever missed and eternally in our hearts. Special thanks to everyone who cared for and loved our aunt, daughter, sister, cousin and niece.
