Colleen Aitchison

Colleen F. Aitchison, 87, of Victoria, passed away January 21, 2018. Colleen was born November 13, 1930 in Victoria to the late George W. and Hattie Fae Whitfield Doherty. Colleen loved spending time with her grandsons and socializing with her friends. Colleen also had a big love of animals, from stray cats and turtles to her two birds that she had for many years. She was a member of the Bon Aire Garden Club and was a very active member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Colleen is survived by her son, Patrick W. Aitchison (Michelle) of Victoria; grandsons, Jonathan Aitchison of Austin, Matthew (Amy) Aitchison of Victoria and her great-grandchild, Kennedy.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Robert Roy Aitchison.

Visitation for family and friends will be Wednesday, January 24, 2018 from 5-7 PM at Rosewood Funeral Chapel.

Funeral Services will be Thursday, January 25, 2018 at 10 AM at Rosewood Funeral Chapel with burial immediately following at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jonathan Aitchison, Matthew Aitchison, Joey Tagliabue and David Tagliabue.

Memorial donations may be made the Boy Scouts Troop # 363 or Hospice of South Texas.
