Charlotte Laverne Greer

Charlotte Laverne Greer, 75, of Victoria, passed away August 3, 2012. She was born October 12, 1936, in Alice, Texas to the late Woodrow Jennings and Hazel Helen Talley Calaway. She was a home maker and a member of Christ the Victor Lutheran Church. She was a member of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by her sons; Gary A. Greer and wife JoAnn of Sandia, Texas, and Mark W. Greer of Victoria; sister Julia Anderson and husband Charles of Corpus Christi, brothers; James R. Calaway of Sandia, Texas and John H. Calaway and wife Jeannie of Sandia, Texas. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren; Dru M. Greer and wife Jessica, Derek L. Greer and wife Ashley and Austin W. Greer.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Austin C. Greer, Jr.

A visitation for family and friends will be held, Wednesday, August 8, 2012, from 6-7 PM at Rosewood Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be, Thursday, August 9, 2012, at 10 AM at Christ the Victor Lutheran Church with Rev. Amy Danchik officiating.

Pallbearers will be Dru M. Greer, Derek L. Greer, Bill Adams, Paul Pierce, Emmett Rhoden and Jarret Calaway.
