Bobby Leon Higgins

Bobby Leon Higgins, 90, of Victoria passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2017. He was born June 24, 1927 in Eldorado, OK to the late Henry and Marie Wesley Higgins. Bobby was happiest when outdoors working in his yard and garden. He enjoyed woodworking and was known as a fellow who could fix anything. Bobby was outgoing and friendly to all, in fact he never met a stranger. He was devoted to his daughters and delighted in following his grandchildren’s school activities.

Survivors include his daughters, Kaye Higgins of Victoria and Kristy Finley (Robert) of Bloomington; sister, Joan Hatfield (John) of Iowa Park; grandchildren, Jody Hormann (Clint) of Liberty Hill and Jeffrey Finley (Tiffany) of Bloomington; great- grandchildren, Zachery Hormann, Levi Finley and Lexi Finley.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Bernice Higgins and a brother, Dennis Higgins.

Funeral services will be at 2 pm Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Rosewood Funeral Chapels with Rev. Marcos Gohlke officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Robert Finley, Clint Hormann, Zachery Hormann and Jeffrey Finley.
